Case of the Year

Each year, the Orange County Homicide Investigators Association acknowledges Orange County homicide investigators who solved a challenging case and brought positive recognition to their unit, department and OCHIA through exemplary performance, perseverance and superior investigative techniques. OCHIA members are eligible to nominate any Orange County homicide case filed or cleared exceptionally during the annual rating period. Submissions are reviewed by the OCHIA Board of Directors and the winning case is announced during the first quarter of the following year. The winning unit is presented with the OCHIA Case of the Year perpetual trophy.
